People across Staffordshire are being invited to nominate carers, work colleagues, young people, friends and family members for a prestigious award.
The Staffordshire Dignity in Care Awards, now in their 6th year, recognises groups and individuals who care for or support the most vulnerable of us, and who treat everyone with dignity and compassion.
We welcome nominations from anyone who receives support and care in Staffordshire, their families, friends, or those who provide support and care to Staffordshire citizens.
Update May 2020: The current Covid-19 pandemic has meant that Staffordshire County Council have made some changes to the Dignity Awards 2020, since the nomination period was originally launched on National Dignity Day (1st February).
The decision has been taken to postpone the Dignity Awards ceremony that was due to be held in July. The date of this will be rearranged at the earliest opportunity.
However, nominations will remain open for members of the public until 31.07.2020. If you know someone going above and beyond in their care for others at any point since July 2019 including this extremely challenging period, we would love to hear from you and look forward to hearing about the difference they have been making to people’s lives.
All nominations we have received since we launched our nominations process on 1st February 2020 will remain active until the closing date.
