'Living My Life, My Way' All Age Disability Strategy 2013-2018

Closed 25 Apr 2013

Opened 11 Mar 2013

Overview

Staffordshire County Council is developing a Strategy which focuses on ensuring that all children, young people and adults with disabilities are able to live a healthy and fulfilling life in the way they choose. The Strategy defines the overarching priorities for the next five years.

Why your views matter

People with disabilities across the county will be consulted on the Strategy via a survey and visiting local meetings. We also want to hear from other residents their thoughts on the survey.

What happens next

The consultation process was designed to engage as many people as possible, including young people with disabilities approaching adult services and their family carers.

Feedback on the consultation is now available and can be found below in PDF format.

The consultation feedback will help to inform a final Cabinet decision which will take place in October/November 2013.   The final strategy will then be published and made available here.
