This survey is aimed at any individual currently working in social care, or interested in a career in social care.  A separate survey is available if you are an organisation wanting to give your views:

In Staffordshire, we would like to see working in social care as a rewarding occupation, whatever social care role people choose to undertake.  Ideally working in social care would be a lifelong, positive, and satisfying choice for those that go above and beyond every day, and a really attractive option for those looking for a way to make a real difference.  But there are challenges across the country around the recruitment and retention of staff, despite everyone continuing to show huge skill and commitment.

We are working with partners across the social care sector to pull together everyone’s views on strengths, challenges, and opportunities to put together an ambitious workforce strategy; a way to rise to these challenges, to ensure that all social care colleagues feel valued and that there are many opportunities for people to have the career progression they deserve.

But we cannot do this without you.  Your voice and views are essential, especially if you are on the front line or thinking about entering a social care role.

The survey should take no more than 10 minutes to complete. Your answers will be treated in the strictest confidence and will be stored securely. Your personal details will not be shared.
