ROF Featherstone Highways Consultation

Closed 12 Feb 2017

Opened 16 Jan 2017

Supporting business to invest, expand and create more and better paid jobs for local people is one of Staffordshire County Council's top priorities.  We are doing this in a number of ways, including investing in the development of key business sites for businesses to locate to.

We are seeking your views on the options for improving access to the former Royal Ordnance Factory (ROF) Featherstone development.  The site has been vacant for several years, but Staffordshire County Council, as the highway authority, has offered its support for the development of the site and is prepared to part fund the new road infrastructure as an investment to create future jobs and growth.

A number of outline options have been considered in the early planning stage.

This consultation has now closed.  Thank you to all those who took part.

The results will now be collated and analysed and will contribute to the options that are considered at the next appraisal stage.  A planning application for one option is expected to be submitted in autumn 2017.
